What you are doing: Creating an account, signing in, confirming your access level, and connecting a payment account so registration funds can actually flow to you.
Create your Fastbreak Account
Sign in and check your role
Go to the platform login page (https://identity.fastbreak.ai/login), click Sign up, enter your email and password, then click Sign up.
Verify your account by clicking the link sent via email from [email protected].
Add your user information like First Name, Last Name, Phone number, and Date of birth. Click the check mark to agree to Fastbreak's Terms of Use and Pricavy Policy. Click Create Account.
Select Continue as a Business.
Add your organization details like Image, Organization name, Address, Organization phone number, and Subdomain.
Click Create Organization.
You'll land on your organization dashboard (top navigation: Home, Manage, Sales & Reporting, and Communications).
TIP | Bookmark the login page and let a password manager fill it so day-of staff can sign in quickly at the venue. |
Connect a Stripe account
WHY THIS STEP | You cannot collect registration payments until a Stripe account is connected, and a brand-new Stripe account can take 1–2 business days to approve. Starting this on day one keeps approval from delaying your registration launch. Until Stripe is connected, a red caution symbol appears next to the Event Dashboard. |
Click your name in the top right corner of the home page.
Click Organization Settings.
On the left side, click Stripe.
Click Connect with Stripe.
Finish Stripe's approval flow and click Return to Fastbreak.
Fee handling (who pays service and processing fees) and tax rates are configured later under registration Settings.
Stripe settings can be revisited in Organization Settings.
Create an Event
What you are doing: Creating the tournament shell that everything else hangs off of — registration, teams, and the schedule all live inside this event.
In the top navigation, click Manage, then Events & Programs. This page is where all of your events live. Sort through or search from this page.
Click Create New Event in the top right corner.
On Event Details (Step 1 of 4), enter the Event Name, an optional Public description, choose a Sport, and set Event type to Tournament.
Because you chose a Tournament, a Guaranteed Games field appears (placeholder “e.g. From 3 to 5 games”). Enter the minimum number of games every team is guaranteed — this number appears on the public event page. Click Next.
For Image (Step 2), upload an event image (JPG or PNG, up to 5 MB, up to 1920×1920).
Once an image has been selected, crop or zoom as needed, then click Done.
Click Next.
On Location (Step 3), set Country, City, State, and Zip code, then click Next.
On Schedule (Step 4), set the Event Start Date and Event End Date. The Timezone will automatically align with the event location. Then click Create Event in the bottom right.
Once the event is created, you will be directed to the event Details Dashboard. This page contains high level event details.
