Organization Settings are the org-wide defaults that sit above every event and season. Reach them from the top-right account menu (your name and organization, e.g. Full Name / Organization Name) → Organization Settings. These are typically managed by an Organization Admin.
WHY THIS STEP | Set these once and every new event inherits them. Connecting Stripe, saving venues, defining tax and fee rules, building reusable tasks (forms and waivers), and creating discounts at the org level means you are not reconfiguring the same things event by event — new events and seasons pull from here automatically. |
The settings sidebar has two groups: Settings (General, Staff, Stripe, Venues) and Invoice Settings (Tax Rates, Fee absorption).
General
The landing page for your organization's settings. Use it as the jumping-off point to the sections below.
Staff
Manage the people in your organization. Org-level access is administered here. Assign the roles Organization Admin, Event Director, Scorekeeper / Site Staff, and Read-Only / Viewer to users.
Stripe
Connect and manage the organization's Stripe account, which powers payment collection for both registration and tickets across every event. When connected, the page shows a Stripe Connected status with the linked business name and email, plus an Open Stripe Dashboard button.
Before connecting you can set up events, create and configure tickets, and preview the checkout page — but you cannot process payments, and ticket listings show as “unavailable.”
After connecting you get all of that plus payments process and ticket listings become available for purchase.
Venues
This section displays a library of saved venues your organization can reuse across events and seasons.
Click Search address or place to add a facility.
Click on the venue name to update the name and address, add a site contact, and add or edit play surfaces.
Anything saved here appears under Saved venues. When you add venues to an event, regularly used venues can be added once.
Tax Rates (Invoice Settings)
Define tax configurations applied to invoices.
Click Tax Rates in the left menu.
Click Add Config.
Set the Product Type, Sport, Tax Rate, whether it is Active, and whether the Service Fee and Processing Fee are taxed. Click Save.
WATCH OUT | Fastbreak does not review tax rates for accuracy or compliance, which means your organization is responsible for ensuring the rates you enter are correct. |
Fee Absorption (Invoice Settings) [COMING SOON]

Early Bird Discount: If the Early Bird price is below the price for the customer category discount, the Early Bird price will apply. This is created at the event level.
Item Count Discount: Applies if no other discounts are active.
Discount Code: This is always applied last, if allowed.
*Last Minute Deals: These are created at the event level and override everything when active at the division/competitive level.
