Event Creation

Learn how to create a new event in Fastbreak Compete.

Creating an event is one of the first steps in Fastbreak Compete. Your event will include details like the event name, dates, venues, and configuration settings that will appear on your website and allow teams to register.

Here's how:

  1. From the top navigation, click Events.

  2. Click Create Event in the top right corner.

  3. Enter your Event Name and upload an Event Image if desired.

  4. Select the Event Sport and enter the City, State, and Zip Code where the event will take place.

  5. Add an Event Description that will appear on your website. This usually includes a brief overview of the tournament, how many games teams will play, and any key details about your event.

  6. Click Continue.

  7. Select the Competition Dates by clicking Select Dates, choosing the event dates on the calendar, and clicking Done.

  8. Choose the correct Event Timezone and click Continue.

  9. Add the Venue(s) where the event will take place by searching for the facility name or address and selecting it from the map results. You can add multiple venues if your event will be played across more than one location. Click Continue when your venue(s) are added.

  10. Enter the number of Guaranteed Games each team will play in the event.

  11. Click Create Event to finish setup.

ℹ️ Make sure the guaranteed games number matches the minimum games each team will play. This helps teams understand the format of your tournament before registering
