Setting up registration allows teams to select their division, pay registration fees, and secure a spot in your event. This step also lets you control pricing, capacity, and how teams register so your tournament stays organized and balanced.
Here's how:
After creating your event, you will be taken to the Event Details page. You can also get here anytime by clicking Events in the top navigation and selecting your event from the list.
In the left sidebar under Details, click Registration.
Select the date and time registration will open and when registration will close by selecting a date or typing it in. Click Next when done.
Next, set up your Divisions by selecting the grades or divisions that can register for the event (for Boys, Girls, or Co-Ed). Click Next when done.
Standard Divisions: Most events use standard grade or age groups (for example: 3rd Grade Boys, 6th Grade Girls).
Custom Divisions: You can also create custom divisions if your event structure is different from standard grades. This is useful if you run things like Open divisions, skill-based brackets, regional groups, or special showcase divisions.
Choose whether your event will use Competitive Levels. Click Next when done..
Competitive Levels: Use this if you run multiple skill levels within the same grade (for example: Gold, Silver, or Elite divisions for 6th grade). This helps create more balanced competition. See How to Set Competitive Levels below.
No Competitive Levels: Use this if teams are separated only by standard divisions such as grade level or age group.
Choose how you want to price your divisions. Click Next when done.
Single Price: Use this if all divisions in the event will pay the same entry fee. This is common for smaller or single-day tournaments where every team participates under the same structure.
Multiple Pricing Options: Use this if different divisions or event formats require different entry fees. For example, you may charge more for older divisions, offer Early Bird pricing, or set different prices for different days. See How to Set Multiple Pricing Options below.
Optionally add an Early Bird price and choose the date/time when that discounted price will expire.
Choose whether to allow Unlimited Registrations or set capacity limits.
Unlimited Registrations: Use this if you want teams to register without a limit. This is helpful if you plan to build divisions after registration or have flexible court availability.
Limited Capacity: Use this if you want to cap the number of teams per division based on court space, scheduling limits, or tournament structure. See How to Set Registration Limits below.
Click Finalize Registration to save your registration setup. Once saved, you will return to the main event page where you can edit your registration settings anytime.
π‘ Tip: If most of your events use the same registration settings, you can save this setup as a template. This lets you reuse the same configuration for future events and avoid repeating the setup process.
