Build a Schedule & Set Time Slots

This process identifies the days, hours, and play surfaces available for the tournament schedule.

Start the Schedule

  1. Click the Schedule icon from the left icon stack. The first time through the process, a 4-step setup wizard launches automatically.

  2. Set Event Dates & Times: start/end dates carry over from the event settings.

    1. If you don't want to schedule matches on every event day, deselect Schedule games on all event dates and deselect any day you don't want matches scheduled.

  3. Confirm the Timezone. Click Next.

  4. Event Hours and Time Slots: keep Generate time slots checked.

    1. Keep Use the same times every day checked to apply one set of hours to all days.

    2. Deselect Use the same times every day to set unique hours each day.

  5. Set your event hours, Time slot duration (the default is 60 minute time slots), and Buffer time (the number of minutes between match time slots). Click Next.

  6. Add Play Surfaces: For each new or saved venue, use + / – to set the number of play surfaces available and pick a Default Type (Play surfaces are where competition takes place: courts, fields, rinks, lanes, pitches, or tables). Click + to add another venue.

    1. To add additional venues, click the +. Enter venue details and play surfaces.

  7. Overview: Add a name to the schedule (customize it if you plan to have multiple versions. Review information and make any necessary changes by clicking Edit.

  8. When details are final, click Submit.

TIP | In a hurry? Click Skip setup when prompted with the setup wizard to create a default schedule using your event dates, 60-minute time slots between 9 AM–5 PM, and your first venue. Confirm with Create default schedule. You can adjust all of these details later from the Schedule page's Settings menu.

Schedule Home

  • You now land on Schedule Home, a live dashboard showing Divisions, Competition Structure (stages/pools), Schedule Coverage (percent of matches placed), and Fastbreak AI solves, plus a Division Breakdown table and a Schedule Readiness checklist (look for green check marks next to each line item).

  • Additional stats populate the bottom of the page, such as Busiest Division (the division with the most matches), Average Matches per Division, Unscheduled Matches, and Version Snapshot.

  • The Schedule Dashboard updates in real time. Check back here regularly to monitor progress.
