Manual Creation Using the Schedule Grid and Workbench
Open the Schedule tab.
Divisions appear on the left of the schedule grid with a count like “0/6” (# of matches placed / # of matches generated).
Click the down arrow next to a division to view the matches generated broken out by pools and bracket play.
Each column in the grid identifies a venue and play surface. Each row identifies the time slots. Note: hover over a time slot to view the exact timing.
Click the right arrow next to a division to push its matches to the Workbench at the bottom (left arrow removes matches from workbench). Use the eye icon to highlight one division or competition stage at a time.
Drag a match from the workbench into a time slot, or double-click a slot to drop the next match in the queue to that time slot. The grid will highlight green if placed cleanly and will highlight red if it breaks a constraint.
Once matches are placed in the schedule grid, you can view individual divisions, pools, or bracket stages by clicking the eyeball icon next to the appropriate section of games. All games in that group will appear in color while all other matches will display with a white background. Click the eyeball icon again to display all matches.
TIP | When manually creating a schedule, constraint violations will be indicated with a red caution icon on the time slot. Click on the match to display constraint findings and details. |
Run the Fastbreak AI scheduler
Click +New, then Schedule Snapshot.
Name the schedule snapshot. Configure snapshot settings like whether to include current time slots, currently scheduled matches, and currently configured constraints. Then click Create snapshot.
Click AI Scheduling (the blue button with the sparkle).
A summary popup shows the number of Required Constraints, the number of Total Matches to be scheduled, and Time Slots Available. Use these quick numbers to confirm you have enough time slots and play surfaces.
Give the AI solve a name and add optional notes (e.g., “with coaching constraints”), then click Generate Schedule.
Matches will move from the workbench onto the grid. The division colors on the left will match the colors in the grid. Use the scroll bars to view all matches across play surfaces.
Each AI solution is logged as a Fastbreak AI solve on the dashboard. Note that when any manual schedule adjustments are made, these override the AI solve in place.
TIP | Use New+ to create a schedule snapshot (version). You can clone the current setup or start fresh with different constraints and switch between versions from the top-left dropdown. |
