Promo codes and QR codes are two great ways to make your ticket sales smoother and more flexible.

Here's how:

🎟️ Promo Codes

Discount codes let you offer special pricing for groups like coaches, VIPs, or early buyers.

To create a discount code:

  1. Go to your Promos from within your event.

  2. Click Create Promo Campaign.

  3. Enter in your Campaign Name

  4. Choose the discount type:

    • % off (ex: 10% off)

    • $ off (ex: $5 off)

  5. Set how long the code will work (ex: one week only, or until event day).

  6. Choose your campaign type

    1. Create specific codes manually

    2. Bulk generate codes

    3. Create campaign first, add codes later

  7. Configure the promo code text and select how many times that promo code can be used. Then Review.

  8. Review your campaign. Then, Create Campaign.

  9. The campaign is created, you can send the promo code out or share it on social media.

👉 Example: Sending unique codes to all your coaches

If you need each coach to have their own one-time code:

  1. Choose Bulk Generate Codes in campaign type

  2. Upload or type in all coach emails and enter in a Marketing Message (this will be send in the email body to all recipients).

  3. The system will create a unique code for each coach (so they can’t be shared).

  4. Each coach will get their code emailed to them automatically.

✨ Additional Promo Code Ideas + Options

  • Create specific codes manually

    • You can create single-use codes – Create one unique code per person (example: “VIP-1234”). Great for giveaways or limited access.

    • You can create multi-use codes – One code that can be used by many people until it reaches the usage limit (example: “SUMMER10” valid for 50 uses).

  • Create specific codes automatically

    • This is a single-use code create per email address automatically. You will need to type in or upload a list of email address.

  • Custom names – Codes can be completely custom (like “COACHESROCK” or “FALLTOURNEY”) instead of random strings.

  • Usage limits – Decide how many times a code can be used (once, 10 times, or unlimited).

  • Time windows – Set start and end dates for when the code works (like an “Early Bird” discount that ends a week before the event).

  • Stack with ticket pricing rules – Promo codes can be combined with child, senior, or early bird ticket setups if you’ve built those into your ticket options.
