Troubleshooting the Stripe M2 connection
Reader won’t appear when you tap Add Reader
Wake it: tap the power button once.
Charge it (USB‑C). Aim for >50%.
Keep it within 6 inches of the device.
Turn Bluetooth ON and allow any permissions the app requests.
The reader can pair to one device at a time. If it’s tied to another phone/tablet, disconnect there first.
Power‑cycle the reader (hold power 4–5s, then turn back on).
Force‑quit and reopen Snap Entry, then tap Add Reader again.
Connected, but payments fail/time out
Switch the device to cellular (turn off weak venue Wi‑Fi).
Make sure Snap Entry is updated to the latest version.
