Troubleshooting scanning issues

Check these steps when a ticket won’t scan.

If ticket scanning isn’t working, here are common fixes:

Connection issues

  • Switch from Wi-Fi to cellular data.

  • Make sure the app is online (Snap Entry needs an internet connection to validate tickets).

Ticket won’t scan

  • Check if the ticket was already used.

  • Confirm the guest is at the correct VENUE and DAY.

  • Confirm that you are on the correct EVENT.

App not working as expected

  • Update the Snap Entry app to the latest version.

    • On iPhone (App Store):

      1. Open the App Store.

      2. Tap your profile picture (top right).

      3. Scroll down to see Available Updates.

      4. Find Snap Entry and tap Update.

    • On Android (Google Play):

      1. Open the Google Play Store.

      2. Tap your profile icon (top right) > Manage apps & device.

      3. Under “Updates available,” find Snap Entry.

      4. Tap Update.

  • Restart the phone.
